The Two Worlds exhibition combines two diverse bodies of work of world-famous Art Nouveau painter Alfons Mucha. Nine of the largest canvasses from the Slav Epic will for the first time ever be joined by a collection of Mucha’s posters. This unique exhibition is unparalleled in the Czech Republic and abroad.

SLAV EPIC DEPICTING SCENES FROM CZECH AND SLAVIC HISTORY ON 6X8 m CANVASSES
Discover the work in which Mucha portrayed the history of Czechs and other Slavic nations. You will also delve into many stories that emphasize the feeling of brotherhood among Slavic nations. Mucha dedicated 18 years of his life to the Slav Epic, finally presenting it in 1928 at the Trade Fair Palace in Prague. In 1930 he exhibited it in Brno, where it is returning after 88 years.
